The Challenge
Mac the Ripper is an emerging tattoo artist based at Twinfinity Ink in Lydney, building a brand rooted in aesthetics and modern tattoo craftsmanship.
The challenge wasn’t just to “build a website.” It was to translate a strong visual identity into a digital presence that felt as premium and distinctive as Mac's work. The site needed to establish credibility instantly, attract the right clientele, and create a seamless path from discovery to booking.
On top of that, we were working pre-launch. No existing audience, no legacy content, just a concept that needed to look established from day one.
The Solution
We designed and developed a bespoke website focused on visual impact, clarity, and conversion.
The design leans heavily into Mac’s Victorian-meets-modern style, using a dark, cinematic palette, gold accents, and strong typography to create a sense of craftsmanship and authority. Every element was considered to feel intentional, from spacing and hierarchy to how artwork is presented.
From a UX perspective, we kept things brutally simple. Users land, understand the brand within seconds, and are guided naturally towards booking.
The current “Coming Soon” phase isn’t filler either. It’s a strategic pre-launch tool, building anticipation, capturing interest, and giving Mac a professional presence while his client base grows.
Behind the scenes, the site is built to scale, with a booking system ready to support client growth, content expansion, and future marketing campaigns.
