New Best Kebab Takeaway Menus

New Best Kebab needed a printed menu to go through letterboxes across Cwm and the wider Ebbw Vale area, and it had to do several jobs on one piece of paper. The menu itself is large, covering kebabs, pizzas, burgers, chicken, sides, desserts and a long list of meal deals, so the main risk was a cluttered layout that customers would give up on. It also needed to push the higher-value offers (the meal deals, the special pizza deal, buy one pizza get one half price on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and give people more than one easy way to order, whether by phone, online, or through the delivery platforms. On top of the design, the artwork had to hold up across a 25,000-copy print run at consistent quality and sit within a tight takeaway budget.

New Best Kebab is a returning client. We had already previously worked with them to create their logo and signage, so this was a fresh print run with a redesigned menu rather than a first job. That existing brand work gave us a head start: the menu was built to match the shopfront and signage customers already recognise, keeping everything consistent from street to letterbox. We designed a six-panel tri-fold menu around the New Best Kebab brand, using bold yellow and black, flame imagery and appetising food photography to match the shopfront and the food. The front cover leads with the brand, the headline categories and the key promotion. Inside, a large menu is broken into clearly labelled sections with consistent pricing columns so customers can scan it quickly rather than reading line by line, and the deals are given their own space so they stand out. The back panel carries the address, phone number, opening hours, delivery terms, the Foodhub and Just Eat listings and a scan-to-order QR code. We then prepared print-ready artwork with correct bleed, CMYK colour and high-resolution images, and managed the print and delivery of all 25,000 copies.
